Eugene C. Kohler, 88, passed away on January 7, in Denver. He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, on August 19, 1924, to Henry and Caroline Kohler. Gene married Patricia Brezina in 1947 and they celebrated 65 years of marriage in December. They enjoyed traveling, summers in the mountains, and time with family. He served in the Air Force for 22 years before joining Civil Service. Gene was an inquisitive man who enjoyed reading and was a frequent patron of libraries everywhere he visited. His interest in the world around him continued throughout his life. Gene is survived by his loving wife, Pat Kohler of Denver, his son, Mark Kohler of Denver, his daughter Vicki (John) Greff of Louisville, and his granddaughters Kali and Teylor Greff. A private service was held in Denver.
