Dear Larson family,
I am so saddened to hear that Erik passed away. I am grateful to have met some of the family that day at Arapahoe Basin and honored that they allowed me to come speak with them. I pray that the family can find peace in remembering all of the good. God Bless.

Erik & I were childhood friends but we lost touch in college. I have often thought of him over the years and wondered what great adventure he was on. I regret that I won't be able to hear all his stories. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Not knowing Erik personally but seeing him on occasion in the halls at work, we always exchanged hellos and smiles. His beautiful blue eyes were filled with soul and his smile was contagious. We will miss him so much. God bless you in this agonizing time of unfathomable loss.

I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Erik's sudden passing. His bright energy enlivened everyone around him.
Hiring Erik to join Sun afforded me the blessing of being able to collaborate closely with him and come to know his thoughtful and gentle, but driven, nature. Our professional paths diverged for a few years, but had recently re-crossed. We were looking forward to collaborating once again this January. I can't imagine not being graced by his smiling presence.
My heart goes out to you and your entire family. He embraced life to the fullest, both professionally and personally. I know he treasured his family. You have been in my thoughts and prayers ever since I heard this news.

Erik was a great colleague and friend at Sun and Oracle. He was always smiling, and full of energy. He always made sure he knew his topic, and if he didn't he wasn't afraid to ask. I will miss him. I can't imagine the loss you feel, but I will keep your entire family in my prayers.

Dearest Larson Family - I was a co-worker of Erik's and worked with him off and on over the years. I knew him to be kind, caring, helpful and incredibly intelligent.
