Chauncey steered me to accounting at CU, then a career at Arthur Andersen. He was a great teacher, a great accountant and an even better man.

My wonderful memories of Chauncey were mostly from Slumber Parties with his Lovely wife and darling daughters. He always was the life of the party, making us laugh, feel important, and feel loved. He had a never ending smile and presence of love that he showed to everyone he touched Chauncey had such a special capacity to make everyone feel happy, loved, and cared for! We will all miss this special dad. The last time I saw him at Frasier Meadows, he said, "Come back, I'll be here". And it is true!
He will always be here in our hearts!

Chauncey has a special place in my heart. My folks enjoyed a long and treasured friendship with him, Jane, and Nancy over the years.
My sisters and I loved spending time with the Beagle girls as kids. I'll remember Chauncey for his big heart, his wonderful laugh, his compassion, generosity, and wisdom. Bravo for 100 amazing years!

I was a young assistant professor at CU during the 60s. Chauncey befriended Betty Jane and I, but of course, Chauncey was a friend to everyone. Chauncey was kind, caring and wise. He will always be remembered as being one of those special people you rarely come upon in life.

Bill and I thought the world of Chauncey. He was a super friend to Bill's father (Dean Baughn) and both he and Nancy were the best friends to Bill and Mary when they moved into Frasier Meadows. Wow!! 100 years old, that is truly impressive.
I'm sure he will truly be missed by all!
