Peter Beihoffer Obituary

Peter Jungclaus Beihoffer passed away in Denver, Co. at the age of 27 on September 9, 2017 from a drug overdose. Peter was born on May 7, 1990, in Boulder, to Peggy and Jon Beihoffer. He was a 2008 graduate of Boulder High School and a student at CU pursuing his goal of a chemistry degree. He grew up sharing love for his family while enjoying his passions of snowboarding, fishing, hunting, golfing, and driving fast cars as a strong-willed free spirit of Boulder. His determination to persevere was balanced with his kind ability to greet others with his caring soul and shining smile that will never be forgotten. Peter leaves behind his parents, Peggy and Jon Beihoffer and his brother Will, along with his grandparents, Lowell and Cathy Beihoffer of Becker, MN and Darlas and Donna Lehmann of Freeman, SD and a loving supportive extended family with many aunts, uncles and close cousins. His family invites those who knew and loved him to a celebration of his life on Sunday, October 22, 7pm, at Chautauqua's Community House, 900 Baseline, Boulder 80302. Donations may be made to the YMCA Boulder Valley in memory of our son Peter to benefit youth programs. Please send donations to YMCA of Boulder Valley-Peter's Fund, 2800 Dagny Way, Lafayette, CO 80026.
