WASP Shutsy was my friend. She was the heart and soul of The WASP Stores with her sister Eleanor. Shutsy was a master silversmith and artisan. She developed the WASP scarf and the official WASP flag with 38 stars. Each star represents the life of a Women Airforce Service Pilot lost in Service. It has been three years since Shutsy was released from this earth to God's heavens. She is forever loved and missed. Jeffrey Clemens & Family

WASP Shutsy gifted me her WASP ring, which she created in the workshop behind her home.
I treasure her memory every time I glance at it on my hand. This is my wedding band. I wept
when she gave it to me. This reflects the kind and creative Spirit of Shutsy. I will always remember.
this selfless act. By running The WASP Stores, she had contact with the entire organization.
WASP Shutsy loved to fly and was a true pioneer in opening military cockpits to future women
aviators. God Bless Her Soul, Chaplain-Pastor Jeff

WASP Shutsy was "The Go To Girl." She ran the WASP Stores with her dear sister Eleanor. Shutsy was a master silversmith. Her wings and rings are the stuff of legend. She always remembered the 38 WASP who were killed during the war. Her friend WASP Beverly Moses was lost shortly after graduation. It was Shutsy who developed the WASP flag with 38 stars. Together we worked on "Operation Celestial Flight" to mark each of their graves with veteran markers and American flags. I will always honor her memory, and admire her feminine courage. Shutsy was a very dear friend, and I will greatly miss her.
