Nancy Jo Mickey, 47, of Dunbar Township, formerly of Connellsville, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, at home. She was born Oct. 24, 1966, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Walter E. Mickey Jr. and Freda D. (Overton) Mickey. Nancy is survived by her loving daughter, Haylei Lynn Mickey, of Dunbar Township; a sister, Colleen A. Lohr and husband, Mark, of Mt. Pleasant; stepmother, Diana G. Mickey; a niece, LaFonda Thomas; of Virginia; a nephew, Demaria Thomas, of California; Nancy's longtime companion, Ronald Sines, of Dunbar; also many extended family members. In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by a sister, Eugenia L. Mickey; and stepfather, Donald H. Overton. Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 S. 1st St., West Side, Connellsville, 724-628-9033, where service will be held at 8 p.m. with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Interment will be private.
