Karen Brown Obituary
Karen was born and raised in Woodland, graduated from Woodland High and was employed as an Office Manager for many years. Karen lived in Woodland her entire life, where she loved to paint, garden, travel, spend time with her girlfriends and enjoy her family.
Karen is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ernie Brown; brother, Kevin; daughter, Sheryl; son, Michael; stepsons, Pat and Jerry; grandchildren, Charlotte, Christine, Brian and Christopher.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Aurelia Westbrook; brothers, Eric and Ian and granddaughter, Michelle. Karen will be greatly missed. There will be a celebration of life at the Woodland Community Center, 2001 East St., on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to your favorite charity.

Karen and I went to Beamer School and WHS together. I got reacquainted with her working on WHS reunion flowers, and we discovered we both liked to paint. She was SO talented, and such a kind, thoughtful person. Our deepest sympathy to her family.

I rented a house from mr and mrs brown(Beamer st) mrs brown was a kind person to me, best landlords I have ever had!! I was so grateful that each Xmas I would order a dozen tamales for them. Rest in peace mrs brown, and thankyou!!!!!
