Ann Parrish (57) lost her fight with cancer Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at her home in Woodland. Ann will be remembered for her strength, positive attitude and the love she had for her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, collecting Native American artifacts, crafting and entertaining. Her happiest times were spent outdoors at the family cabin in New York Mountains, fishing on the Sacramento River, on hunting trips to Colorado, and at the Tri-Country Women's Camp. An employee of Woodland Healthcare for 32 years, Ann worked in the Dermatology and OBGYN departments before her tenure in management. She retired in 2008.
Ann was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Parrish and sister Jane Petrie. She is survived by her husband Rick Tozzi, daughter Johanna Koch, stepson Mathew Tozzi and wife Laura; grandchildren Cate and Carson Tozzi; and stepson Justin Tozzi and wife Emily. Additional family include father John Parrish and wife Barbara, sister Peggy Carr, brother Tom Parrish; brother-in-law Bruce Petrie; and sister-in-law Leslye Tozzi and husband Gene Swimm.
A celebration of life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 414 Casa Linda Drive, Woodland, (the corner of Casa Linda and Buena Tierra). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to Yolo Hospice, 1909 Galileo Court St., Suite A, Davis, 95618, or a
