Christina Therese Pirruccello Rosales, 34, of West Sacramento, died on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born on Oct. 16, 1978, in Omaha, Neb. Christina lived a full, vivacious life, enjoying being a mother most of all. She was so devoted that she had business cards printed stating: "Christina Pirruccello Mom to Ella Mae." Her hobbies included crafting, blogging (mamaknowszest.wordpress.com), traveling, baking, facebooking and going to dinner with her girlfriends.
She loved baking so much she started a small baking company, Sweetie Cheeks, specializing in cake pops and cupcakes. Christina was a strong, spirited woman, who made friends "just like that" wherever she went. Her smile was infectious, and her little hand clap endeared us all.
