Mary E. McGuire

Mary E. McGuire earned her wins on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Mary was born in Fort Scott, Kan., to harry and pearl Lincoln in July 1951. She and her family moved to California in 1953 and settled in Dixon in 1965, where Mary graduated from high school in 1969.
Mary had two wonderful children, Christina and Steven. She raised them both with love and strong family values.
On Feb. 5, 1983, Mary married the love of her life, Jeffrey. They, too, had a son, David, and soon became an even bigger family.
Mary worked for more than 30 years in the title and escrow industry, where she made many lifetime friends.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey McGuire; daughter Tina Canchola and husband Efren; sons Steven Pike and David McGuire; grandchildren Eric and Andrew Nelson, Cheyanne Pike and Mia Canchola; great-grandchildren Bryan and Jennie Nelson; brother James Lincoln and wife Cheri, sisters Dinah Greenstreet and husband Bob, and Lisa Lincoln as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Pearl Lincoln; and granddaughter Samantha Ashburn.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 1 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, at the Woodland Elks Lodge, 500 Bush St., Woodland.
The family of Mary would like to send a special "Thank You" to her physician, Dr. Sandeep Bains, with Kaiser Davis and to the team from Yolo Hospice.
