Philip E. Wagner
July 22, 1922 – Nov. 16, 2013

On Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 Philip E. Wagner passed away at the age of 91. Philip was born on July 22, 1922 in Minnesota and was a resident of Sacramento for 15 years. Philip received his bachelor of science degree from Purdue University. He was a 2nd lieutenant in the Army Air Corps, worked as an agricultural pilot and was the owner of Wagner Aviation for 30 years. Philip also belonged to the Robbins School Board, Robbins Fire Department, Lions International, the Masons, and the Woodland Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his daughter Pamela Wagner, son Paul Wagner, sister Norma Swanson, one grandchild Todd (Erica) Wagner, and two great-grandchildren, Serena and Gavin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Anna Mae Wagner; parents E.E and Flossie Wagner; and sister Betty Bauck.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26, at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St., Woodland. Inurnment will be atthe Sacramento Valley VA Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross or to a .
