Wilton Lee Huntley

Wilton Lee Huntley passed away at his home in Woodland on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013. "Lee" was born in Detroit, Mich., on Dec. 19, 1925, and spent his Depression-era childhood in several locations in the state.
Lee entered the Army Air Force in February 1944, serving in several capacities until his discharge in March 1946. After receiving his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering at the University of Michigan in June 1952, Lee worked and traveled extensively until marrying Jeanne Tuohey in 1957.
With three children, the family settled in Vallejo in 1963, where Lee worked in Combat Systems at Mare Island until his retirement in 1987. Following Jeanne's death in 2000, Lee moved to a home in Woodland with his daughter, Tina. In his final years he continued to travel and enjoyed making new friends in his neighborhood and at the Woodland Elks lodge.
Lee is survived by his children Wade, Dora, and Tina; and three grandchildren.
Lee's family will celebrate his life at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Woodland Elks Lodge, 500 Bush St., Woodland.
