Darrell Allen Northam
July 27, 1965 - Nov. 27, 2012

Darrell Allen Northam, 47, died on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, in Woodland. Born in Woodland on July 27, 1965, Darrell graduated from Woodland High School in 1983 and joined the Air Force immediately after. After serving with the Air Force, Darrell worked at Mobil Chemical and then Blue Shield, both in Woodland, for 16 years. He was an active member at the Woodland Bible Church. Darrell was a man of God and his faith showed through his constant loving ways and caring of others. He was a huge supporter of all Woodland sports and served many years as a volunteer for the Woodland High Sports program. He touched the lives of many. Darrell's faith in God, love for his family and friends and his perseverance in his optimism for the future are qualities which will continue to inspire and guide all of us.
Darrell is survived by his parents Don and Anna Northam, sister Leann Cain, nephew Nicolas Cain, and his niece Alexandra Cain, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Francisco Lopez, Gabriela Lopez, E.G. Northam and Edna Northam.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Kraft Bros. Funeral Chapel, 175 Second St., Woodland, with a celebration of his life to follow at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Woodland Bible Church, 433 California St., Woodland. Following the celebration of life, burial will take place at Monument Hill Memorial Park, 35036 CR-22, Woodland. Donations in his memory may be made to the Woodland High School - Darrell Northam Private Athletic Memorial, Woodland High School, 21 N. West St., Woodland, 95695.
