Donna Irene Muller

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 Donna Irene Muller passed away at Woodland Memorial Hospital after a long battle of illness with her family surrounding her with love. Donna was born on April 12, 1947 to Willard and Eugenia Mosier in Woodland. She graduated from Hiram Johnson High School in 1965.
She worked at Andco Farms where she met and married Tom Muller in 1974. Later, she worked for California Dehydrating, Escalon Packers, and the most current was Dettling Farms. Donna loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a gracious hostess and loved to entertain. She was always present at her children's and grandchildren's activities and events. She enjoyed her annual trips to Reno for New Year's with close friends and Bodega Bay to celebrate her birthday and anniversary. Her hobbies over the years included sewing, golf, Bunco, and shopping for shoes and purses. She also enjoyed playing ball with her beloved dog Brody. No matter what life threw at her, she always had a positive attitude and a smile on her face. She is going to be greatly missed.
Donna is survived by her daughter Sharon Campos; two step-sons, Tommy Muller ll and his wife Michelle, and Bill Muller and his wife Julie; sister Genie Leighton; 10 grandchildren including Kelly Campos, Jake Campos, Blake Muller, Amanda Muller, Charlie Muller, Matthew Muller, Megan Muller, Brittani Muller, Molly Muller.
She is preceded in death by her husband Tom Muller; and parents, Willard and Eugenia Mosier.
A funeral service will be held beginning at noon, Friday, Dec. 13, at the Woodland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 509 College St., Woodland. A celebration of Donna's life will follow at Yolo County Fairgrounds, 1250 Gum Ave., in John Rogers Hall, Woodland.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Shriners Hospital.
