Nov. 8, 1942 - Dec. 28, 2017 Kay passed away at her home in Woodland on Dec. 28. Kay was born to Willis E. and Evelyn F. Schiller on Nov. 8, 1942 at Fort Riley, KS. She moved to Woodland and became a lifelong resident in 1961. She married Edward Bruni on March 9, 1974, together they raised three boys, Vince Bruni, and Glenn and Greg Baker. Kay worked as a bookkeeper alongside her husband and sons for 30 plus years at Woodland Glass. Kay was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She enjoyed golfing and was a member of the 18ers at Yolo Fliers Club. Kay also enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, his gospel recordings were among her favorites. She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Edward Bruni; sons, Vince Bruni, and Glenn and Greg Baker; grandsons, Corey, Caleb and Brock Baker, and five great grandchildren. Kay is predeceased by her mother, Evelyn F. Schiller; father, Sergeant Major Willis E. Schiller, and her sister, Jean Alcorn. Kay requested there be no services.
