Richard M. Camaren
Nov. 15, 1921 - Sept. 25, 2013

Richard M. "Dick" Camaren of Davis passed away in Davis surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013. Camaren was born Nov. 15, 1921, in Bakersfield. He was a well known farmer in the Yolo County area in the 1940s through the 1970s. Dick was owner of Camaren Tomato Harvesting Comp. Of late, he was a land developer. He served four years in the Army Air Corps in WWII.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joyce Darling Camaren; sons Ronald of Dixon and Mark of Corning; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Gregg and Richard (Rick).
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., Vacaville. Interment will follow at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, 522 Elmira Road. A celebration of life will follow at the Moose Lodge, 6585 Gibson Canyon Road, Vacaville, where he had been a member for 48 years.
