David J. Villescaz D.C. Obituary
Aug. 24, 1953 - July 27, 2014

David was called home to rest by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ following a lengthy illness at WMH. He was born in Union City, CA. He is survived by Carmen, his loving wife of 24 yeras; his two sons, David Jr. And Daniel and his daughter, Alyssa. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Ballin; father, Carlos Villescaz, Sr.; brother, Carlos Jr. (Brenda); nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Ernie Villescaz (brother) and Norman Ballin, M.D. (step-father).

David graduated from Mission San Jose High School in 1972. He attended Palmer West Chiropractic College and graduated in 1985. He moved to Woodland and began his Chiropractic Clinic in 1986.

David was a loving and generous man who truly enjoyed spending time with his family and helping his patients. He was an avid 49ers fan. He helped run a youth basketball camp (Academics Thru Athletics) for many years in Woodland. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and a former member of the Lions Club and the California Chiropractic Association.

A Rosary will be held Sunday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m., at McNary's Chapel, Woodland. A Mass will be held Monday, Aug. 4 at 10:30 a.m., at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial afterwards. A reception will follow at Tumulty Hall.
