Julie Marie Key, was born on May 16, 1950, in Vancouver, Wash., and grew up in the Five Cities area of Pismo Beach, moving to Woodland in 1971. Julie loved children, and worked many years for In-R-care day care as assistant director. On Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, Julie lost her battle with cancer and joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven at the age of 62. 
Julie, who also went by "Mimi," "Juju," "Grandma," and "Mom" is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Tom; children Jon and wife Cristina, Jason and wife Jennifer, and Joshua and wife Melissa; and the little girl she always wanted Lacie, her daughter; grandchildren Jon, Gidion, and Ezra (Jon's) Alexa, Christina and Janelle (Jason's). Other survivors include sister Pamela from Chico, and previous daughter-in-law Krista Key, and brother- and sister-in-law, John and Shirley Key. Julie was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Virginia Forrest; and brother Mike, all from the Arroyo Grande area.
JUJU, will be greatly missed by this family, and everyone who knew her. LOVE YOU BABY, SEE YOU SOON! As Julie wanted, there will be no service, family and friends will have a gathering at a later date.
