Mary K. Breckenridge, 86, of Woodland, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, in Woodland. She was a resident of the Willow Oak Park community for more than 77 years. Mary was born on Dec. 4, 1925, near King City. She was a graduate of Woodland High School and attended UC Davis. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She served as a Willow Oak Park 4-H Club leader for more than 45 years.
Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dwight L. Breckenridge of Woodland; daughter Becky Gliatto and husband John of Martinez; sons Kenneth Breckenridge and wife Barbara of Woodland, Barr Breckenridge and wife Denee of Capay Valley; Bill Breckenridge and LeeAnn Nix of Capay Valley, Ron Breckenridge and Donna Vaughn of Woodland; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Monterey Sims and husband Bob of Kerman; brother Jeff McGrew of Sebastopol, and many extended family members.
A celebration of life for Mary is scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Willow Oak Park Hall, 17535 County Road 97, Woodland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Willow Oak Fire Department, Yolo Co. 4-H Club, or Yolo County Hospice. Woodland Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
