Carmon F. Fusaro

Carmon F. Fusaro, 86, passed away on July 3, 2013 in Redding. He was born in Gridley on Oct. 4, 1926. Carmon was a resident of Yolo County for 36 years. He attended Colusa High School and was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. Carmon worked for Teichert & Sons Construction where he retired after 33 years. He was also a member of the Yolo Fliers Country Club.
Carmon is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn D. Fusaro; daughters Karen Ollis (Ron), Karol Fusaro, Joan Curry and Sherrye Devencenvi (Tom); sons Louis Fusaro and David Fusaro (Cindy); 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Carmon was preceded in death by his brothers Frank, Benny, Ned, Dom and Ralph; sister Theresa; son Darryl Fusaro and son-in-law Al Curry.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1741 Wescott Road, Colusa. A Celebration of Life will follow the service from 2-4 p.m. at Yolo Fliers Club, 17980 CR 94B, Woodland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Mercy Hospice, 1544 Market St., Redding, 96001.
