Tom (Edwin) Stevens
Dec. 15, 1941 – Dec. 31, 2013

Born in Woodland on Dec. 15, 1941, to Ed and Dorothy Stevens, Tom Stevens passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, after a long struggle with cancer. He is the grandson of long time Yolo County Treasurer Roy E. Cole and his wife Louise.
Tom attended UC Berkeley for a short time then went into the life insurance business. He served in the U.S. Air Force and he worked in various positions for the county of Stanislaus and The Modesto Bee for several years. He retired in 2008 to spend time with his family and enjoy sports.
Tom is survived by his two children, Ed Allen of Washington and Connysue Stow of Turlock; one sister, Janene Willey; one niece, Daren Willey-Ewart; and one great niece, Caitlyn Ewart, all of Bend, Ore. He is also survived by two grandsons, Kane and Shane; and two granddaughters, Chiara and Ezra.
His cremains will be interred at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 31, at Monument Hill Memorial Park, 35036 CR-22, Woodland. Please come and join an informal gathering of family and friends.
