Kelder, Ryan Vincent* - Saugerties  
Ryan Vincent Kelder SAUGERTIES - It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of our Ryan on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015 due to a progressive deadly addiction. Born in Kingston, on Sept. 24, 1990 he is the son of Vincent F. and Carole A. (VanWagenen) Kelder. A graduate of Kingston High School Class of 2008, after high school he attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Ryan was an avid skateboarder, snow boarder, loved being on the water boating and wake boarding. He had a great sense of humor and was known as a prankster in his teenage years. He enjoyed get togethers with family and friends, which he was the life of the party. He particularly liked to celebrate Halloween. Fan of the New York Mets. Surviving in addition to his mother and father is his sister Randi Marie Kelder; his maternal great-grandmother Mary M. Berardi, maternal grandmother Mary Alice Berardi, maternal grandfather Charles VanWagenen and his wife Jane, paternal grandmother Florence M. Kelder; his aunts and uncles Ronald and his wife Mildred R. Kelder, Maria Naccarato “Aunt Moe” (her late husband Pete Naccarato), Charles J. Vanwagenen Jr., Justin Vanwagenen and first cousin Tyler Kelder. Several extended cousins survive. He was predeceased by his “Poppy” Vincent A. Kelder. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home Inc., 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston N.Y. www.jvleahyfh.com Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral procession forms Thursday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Ryan’s Uncle, Father Tom Berardi 11 a.m. Immaculate Conception Church. Prayers of committal will follow at the Wiltwyck Mausoleum. Ryan loved kids. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contribution to the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston, 139 Greenkill Avenue, Kingston, N.Y. 12401.

Kershaw, Judith Ann* - Hurley  
Judith Ann Kershaw HURLEY - Judith Ann Kershaw, 66, of Hurley, died at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus on Saturday, August 22, 2015. Born in Kingston, Jan. 17, 1949 a daughter of the late Douglas and Margaret (McNally) Trowbridge. Judith was employed as an L.P.N. at the Benedictine Hospital in Kingston. She was a dog lover and avid reader. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Kershaw. Surviving is her sister Cindy Murphy and her husband Dennis of Accord; sister-in-law Mary K. Polhemus and her husband Henry “Mike” of Hurley, nieces; Shannon Stokes and her fiancĂ© Steven Twilley of Delaware, Krista Sheehan and her husband Patrick of Accord, Nicole Murphy of Kingston, nephews William and Sean Moxham, great-nephews; William Moxham, Jr., Christopher D. and Ryan Moxham, Finn Sheehan, great-nieces; Nicole Moxham and Rylynn Twilley, one great-great-nephew Christopher F. Moxham. Many cousins also survive. In addition to her husband; Judith’s brother Bruce Trowbridge died previously. Cremation and memorial arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Kubicek, Arthur R.* - Bloomington  
Arthur R. Kubicek TOWN OF USLTER-Arthur R. Kubicek, 92, formerly of Bloomington, N.Y. died at TenBroeck Commons Nursing Home on Wednesday Aug. 19, 2015. Born in Kingston, N.Y. March 18, 1923 a son of the late Rudolph and Emma (Menzel) Kubicek. A veteran of World War II, Arthur served with pride in The United States Army Air Corp. He participated in campaigns in Bismarch-Archipelago, Luzon: New Guinea and received The Asiatic Pacific Service Medal and American Defense Service Medal. He was discharged honorably in Oct. of 1945. Mr. Kubicek was employed by IBM Kingston New York retiring from The Laboratory. A member of The IBM Quarter Century Club, No Can Do Bowling League, and Past Commander of American Legion Post 1298 Town of Esopus. He is survived by his son Lawrence Kubicek and his wife Sue of Bloomington. Three grandchildren, Elliot Kubicek, of Kingston, Jan-Marie Frey of Austin, Texas, and Lisa Besze of Kingston. Three great-grandchildren and nephews; Bobby and Andy Dykes of California, Shawn, Hans and Willie Schultz North Carolina of also survive. His wife Carrol (Cable) Kubicek died in 1994. Two sisters; Marie Kennedy died Aug. 5th of this year, and Elsie Dykes also predeceased him. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston, N.Y. www.jvleahyfh.com Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. American Legion Post 1298 will conduct a ritual at 6:30 p.m. A funeral procession will form Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint Peters Church Rosendale at 11 a.m. Burial with Military Honors in Saint Peters Cemetery Rosendale.
