Ackert, James William* - Saugerties  
James “ Jimmy” William Ackert SAUGERTIES- Jimmy Ackert, 64, of Saugerties died on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at his home in Clarksburg, Mass. Born on April 8, 1952 in Saugerties he was the son of Doris Ackert and the late Francis “Banjo” Ackert. Jimmy attended Saugerties High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces. He worked as a mechanic at several bowling alleys around the area. Jimmy loved the outdoors and living in the mountains. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was also a big fan of Rock ‘N’ Roll music and muscle cars. Besides his mother, survivors include: his first wife, Nancy Cabaan Ackert and their two children, Francis “ Banjo” and Maria; his current wife, Judy Panetti Ackert and their three children, James, Matthew and Amanda; four sisters, Dolly, Ruth “ Tweetie”, Debbie and Tammy; as well as one brother, Francis “Dink” who passed in 1998. Jimmy is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jimmy was the kindest of souls and will be truly missed by all the lives he’s touched over the years.

Alecca, Dorothy E.* - Louisville  
Dorothy E. (Dot) Alecca Louisville, COLO.- Dorothy E. (Dot) Alecca beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away May 12, 2016 at TRU Hospice Care in Louisville, Colo. She was born Dec. 10, 1922 in Yonkers, N.Y., and moved with her parents William Olan Kelly and Erna Warthold Kelly to Rosendale, N.Y. in 1927 where she lived till moving to Longmont, Colo., in 1998. Dot enjoyed traveling with her husband Charles for many years after they retired. She especially loved the cruise through the Panama Canal they took. She leaves behind her husband, Charles Alecca; children, Dorothy (Reynolds) Pyle and Karen (Reynolds) Rowell (William); grand-children, Angie (Pyle) Scott (William) and Carolee (Reynolds) Straub (Joseph); great-grand-children, Olivia Scott, Aiden Scott, Mathew Straub and Kendall Straub, as well as in-laws, and friends. She will be missed by many. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother, William C. Kelly, and son, Kevin W. Reynolds, Jr. There will be no visitation or services per her wishes.
