Haines, June Rose* - Kingston  
June Rose Haines KINGSTON- June Rose Haines, 95, of Kingston, died Friday, April 29, 2016 peacefully at Golden Hill Nursing & RehabilitationCenter. Born in Pittsfield, Mass., to the late Lucy Regnier on March 12, 1921. For many years she worked as a secretary at IBM in Kingston. June enjoyed life and her loving family. Also, her hobbies of golf, drawing, metal detecting and mall walking where she met many friends. Survivors include one daughter, Rosalie Turck and her husband John of Kingston, N.Y.; four granddaughters, Sandra Dale, Lory Cummings, Jayne Roberti, Helene Zimmerman; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Victor Izzo, Sr. At June’s request, her body will be donated to the Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Program. A memorial service will be held at a later date. JUNE’S REQUEST: “In my memory, ask a special friend to lunch and have dessert for me.”

Harden, Willie Frank* - Kingston  
Willie Frank Harden KINGSTON-Willie Frank Harden, 59, of Thomas Street, Kingston passed away Saturday, April 23rd, 2016 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus. Willie was born in Kingston, N.Y. on Oct. 11th, 1956, a son of the late Major and Laura (Baggett) Harden. He is survived by wife, Miriam (Hintz) Harden, one son, Tarell Fairley, two daughters, Adessa Fairley and Kizzy Seewald, two stepchildren, Andrew and Tiffany Ector, two brothers, Gregory and Jimmy Harden, four grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family has entrusted Willie’s care to the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park. A graveside service and interment will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 4th, at Montrepose Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Fannie M. Holland JACKSONVILLE, FLA.- Fannie M. Holland passed away April 14, 2016 in Jacksonville, Fla. Born in Kingston, N.Y. on April 8, 1943. She was the daughter of Catherine Armstrong Clinton of Atlanta, Ga., and the late Isom Clinton, Sr. Survivors include her son, Duane Clinton and his wife Patti, and daughter Aretha Holland, all of Jacksonville, Fla. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Larson and her husband, Ken of Atlanta Ga.; granddaughter, Kristin Clinton and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Nathaniel Holland; brother, Isom Clinton, Jr.; and a sister, Kathleen Cooper. Ms. Holland will repose 11 a.m. to 12 Noon, Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Beulah Baptist Church, 92 Catharine St., Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Service at 12 Noon at the church. Interment at Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, N.Y. Repast will follow at St. Marks AME Church 72 Wurts St., Kingston, N.Y. Jackson, Margaret H.* - Kingston  
Margaret H. “Snookie” Jackson KINGSTON- Margaret H. “Snookie” Jackson, 71, of Clinton Avenue, Kingston, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kingston. Born Oct. 26, 1944 in Kingston; she is a daughter of the late Lanson and Mary Elizabeth (Hasbrouck) Snider. Snookie was a jack of all trades; she worked as a bartender at the Peg Leg Bates Country Club in Kerhonkson. A lover of animals; Snookie enjoyed penny socials, flea markets and will always be remembered as a very happy person. Surviving are her children: Shaline Hasbrouck, James Hasbrouck and Karl Jackson of Kingston; and caretakers, Rebecca Sauers, Selina Sauers, Tiffany Mead. Many grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Her brother Bill Hasbrouck died previously. Cremation arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Kaiser, Jamie Lynn* - Lake Katrine  
Jamie Lynn Kaiser LAKE KATRINE- Jamie Lynn Kaiser, 33, of Lake Katrine, N.Y., passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 30, 2016. She was born June 16, 1982 in Kingston, N.Y., to John and Karen (Exstrand) Kaiser. Jamie Lynn earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mount St. Mary’s College, Newburgh, N.Y., in 2004. Jamie was a Consumer Advocate for Ulster-Greene ARC, for most of her career. In addition to her parents she is survived by her brother, Jeff (Michelle) Kaiser of Red Hook, N.Y.; her nieces, Norah and Nadia Kaiser of Red Hook; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Emil and Shirley Exstrand, and Clarence and Laura Kaiser; and her nephews, Braiden and Alexander Kaiser. Kanover, Stanley* - Kingston  
Stanley Kanover Pompton Plains, N.J.- Stanley Kanover, 89, of Pompton Plains, N.J., formerly of Kingston, died April 26, 2016, at Mountain View Gardens, Pompton Plains. Born in the Bronx, he was a son of the late Philip and Lillian Sontag Kanover. Stanley was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He and his family moved to Kingston in 1967. Stanley is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Sotnick Kanover, whom he married on Oct. 26, 1952; a daughter, Meryl Gondelman and her husband Robert of Emerson, N.J.; and a son-in-law, Phillip Turkovitz of Port Orange, Fla. Three grandchildren, Ben, Hillary and Lauren also survive. In addition to his parents, Stanley was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Turkovitz and a brother, Burton Kanover. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., at 11:30 a.m., with Cantor Devorah Gartner of Congregation Ahavath Israel, officiating. Klatzkin, Katherine Malmrose* - Kingston  
Katherine (Kathy) Malmrose Klatzkin KINGSTON- Katherine (Kathy) Malmrose Klatzkin passed into eternal life on April 29, 2016. The daughter of the late Dorothy and Everette Malmrose, she was born on Oct. 25, 1944 in Kane, Pa. Kathy graduated from Kane High School in 1962 and received a practical nursing degree in Bradford, Pa., in 1966, after which she was employed at Kingston Hospital as an LPN. Kathy loved music, chocolate and literature and enjoyed writing poems. While living in Woodstock in the 1970’s, Kathy attended Christ’s Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir. She later moved to Kingston, where she joined the congregation of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Kathy is survived by her daughter, Bente Malmrose Martinez; son-in-law, Alfredo Martinez; five grandchildren, Isabel, Amalia, Alfredo, Angel and Alejandro Martinez; brother, Barry Malmrose and his wife Cathy of Sorrento, Maine; and her sister, Anne Kamel and her husband Bill of Henderson, Nev. She was predeceased by her husbands, Peter Harmon in 1985 and Kent Klatzkin in 1992 and her brother Larry Malmrose in 1980. Friends will be received 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Lasher Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Tinker St., Woodstock. A service in Kathy’s memory will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Christ’s Lutheran Church, 26 Mill Hill Rd., Woodstock. Burial will follow in Woodstock Cemetery.
