Charles Beauregard Jr.

Charles Beauregard Jr. BARRYTOWN- Charles Beauregard, Jr, 68, of Barrytown, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at his home. For many years and until his retirement in 1999, Charles was a pipe & sprinkler fitter with Union Local #669 based in Maryland. Active in his community, Charles was a member and Past Commander of the Red Hook Post #7765, VFW; he was a member of the Harris Smith Post 524 American Legion in Tivoli, and the Red Hook-Rhinebeck Lodge 2022 BPOE in Red Hook. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Born on April 4, 1944, in Quincy, Mass., he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Wilson) Beauregard. Charles married Regina Wyant on July 7, 2003 in Tivoli, and she survives at home. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Collin Beauregard of Charlotte, N.C.; his daughter; Amy Beauregard of Greensboro, N.C.; his stepchildren, Joseph White of Red Hook, Tina Iefield of Rhinebeck, and John Potts of Red Hook; his sister, Jacqueline Dillman of New Port Beach, Calif., eleven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and many friends. A celebration of Charles life will take place at a later date. Cremation was private at Wiltwyck Crematory, Kingston. Memorial donations may be made in Charles's memory to the Hospice Foundation, Inc., 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, N.Y., 12601.
