Earl E. Carle Jr.

Earl E. Carle, Jr. KINGSTON- Earl E. Carle, Jr., 76 of West Chester Street, died Thursday Oct. 31, 2013 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus. Born Jan. 8, 1937 in Poughkeepsie, he was a son of the late Earl E., Sr. and Beatrice (Shaw) Carle. Earl was the owner of Earl's Texas Hot Wieners in Kingston. He also cooked in various other restaurants and diners in the area. He was an avid New York Mets Fan. Surviving is wife of 54 years, Shirley J. (Hoffay) Carle of Kingston; his son, Stephen Carle and his wife Lorraine of Highland; his brother, Bruce Carle and his wife Emma of Coxsackie, N.Y.; his grandchildren, Bridgette and Logan Carle; his daughter-in-law, Pamela Carle and her sons Jimmy Williams (Heather), Christopher Williams and his wife Ashley and her grandson Nathan Edward; brothers & sisters-in-law. Many nieces and nephews also survive. His son, Edward Carle and sisters, Norma “Jackie” Carle and Sheila O'Hern predeceased him. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Smith Avenue. www.jvleahyfh.com Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. A funeral procession will form Monday 9 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph's Church. Burial in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
