Barry R. Craft, Sr. SAUGERTIES - Barry R. Craft, Sr., 81, of Churchland Lane died Monday, July 28, 2014 at his residence. A lifetime area resident he was born Aug. 23, 1932 in Saugerties. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed for over 30 years for the United Postal Service. He also worked for Lezette Express and Markertek in his later years. He was a lifetime member of the Centerville-Cedar Grove Fire Co. where he was also an elected Fire Commissoner. He was a member and Past Grand Knight of the Saugerties K of C #4536 and was also a member of the 4th Degree. He was a volunteer at Diaz Memorial Ambulance Service. Predeceased by his wife, Genevieve Craft in 2010, survivors include twoSons: Barry and his wife Sue Craft of Westkill and Michael Craft of Saugerties. Three Daughters: Patricia and her husband, Allen Wigginton of Saugerties, Sharon Craft of Westkill and Cynthia Craft and her wife Lisa Thomas both of Saugerties. One Sister: Winifred Stevens of Saugerties. 13 Grandchildren, one Great-Grandchild and several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Procession will form 9:15 a.m. Friday at the Seamon-WilseyFuneral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. Thence to St. John the Evangelist RC Church where at 10 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Friends will be received Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Family suggests donations in his memory be made to the Ulster County Hospice.
