Caroline, Teresa, Mary and Lisa, my thoughts are with you. I'm glad you had him around for so long. I remember the dyas back at Ulster Academy and the long conversations your father and I would have. Treasured memories, he was a lot of fun to hang out with. All my best.

I love you Dad, and miss you. You are the best father anyone could hope for. Thank you for all the wonderful times we had. I will miss hearing your stories about the Army, New York, and Pikes Peak, among others.... Those topics were my favorites. I carry those stories in my heart now. Thank you for everything you've done for me that has made me who I am today. I hope I've brought you as much happiness as you have given me. I promise I won't tell Caroline, Mary, and Lisa that I'm your favorite! (wink, wink....)

Mr. Wickman was one of our many "remembered well" customers of our Delmar drugstore. He always came in with a smile! And true to character he cut a full body picture of my husband, the pharmacist, out of a newspaper and made a wood cutout to match it and pasted the picture to it. Out family still has the "wood standing picture" and we still laugh over it. Out deepest sympathy to all of his family.

Christine, Jim and I are very sorry for your loss. We so enjoyed our many Friday nights out with you and Tom. Also lots of corney jokes and loads of laughter. Tom, you were not only a father-in-law to me, but you treated me like i was your son. You were not only a great husband, but a wonderful father & grandfather, as well. When Teresa brought me to meet her parents, I was warned that Tom was a jokester. After the third corny joke, I complained to Teresa that she was supposed to nudge me when he reached the punchlines so I might know when to laugh. Christine said that frankly, the family was hoping some fresh ears would help THEM identify the punchlines! Miss you Tom

Wickman girls...so very sorry for your loss. How blessed you all were to have such a wonderful, loving, supportive and hilarious dad for such a long a time...probably why you are all so funny... well, most of you LOL. Mary, Teresa, Lisa and Caroline, My thoughts and pryaers are with you and your families. I remember your Dad (and Mom) with fond memories. Riding around in your Dad's white Riviera with us all in back. Your Dad taking us wherever we wanted to go. Pack of Rolaids on the dash. Your Dad treated me like one of his own kids! I loved being part of your family. I will miss him. I feel honored to have grown up with your Mom & Dad in my life. all those afternoons sitting around your kitchen having tea, Lisa making rice and laughing. Your Dad was a wonderful patient man and I will never forget him. I love you guys.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me".
