ROYAL PALM BEACH, FLA.- William F. Herzog, 80 of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Kingston, died June 6, 2014 at his home.
Born in Michigan, he lived most of his life in Kingston. He was the son of the late Frederick and Zita Dueppe Herzog. William was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He worked for IBM for over 30 years. He spent the last 15 years wintering in Royal Palm Beach, Fla. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tending to his garden.
He is survived by his wife, of 31 years, Eileen Killian Herzog; Steven Herzog, John Teto and Patrick Teto; four sisters, Riita McCullough and her family, Barbara Scharschu and her family, Mary Sarro and her family, Carol Hughes and her family; one brother, Don Herzog; and two sister-in-laws, Teresa and Mary Ann Herzog and their families. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Charles Herzog and a sister, Dolores Fiore.
The family will receive friends at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
A Memorial Service will follow at 5:30 p.m. with Fr. George Devanapalle from St. Joseph Church, officiating.
Interment will be private.
