Andrea sang my favorite song of all time--" More More More."
I never met Andrea but her passing is like the death of a best friend or cherished relative because this song meant so much to me. I wish more could have been known about her family, childhood, teen years and early years in NYC. She was an icon to many of us. I will always be enthralled by this woman who made such wonderful music.

Andrea's passing is a major loss and her career story is as unique as her music was entertaining. I am currently developing a book on female disco singers of the 70's and hope to include a chapter on Andrea True that highlights her determination and drive for success. Andrea's place in music history was secured in 1976 but there is so much more to appreciate about this remarkable woman. I look forward to giving her the recognition she deserves.

Andy grew up next door to us in Donelson and we have kept in touch over the years. Took my Mother on cruise for her 80th BD (2001) and she stayed overnight with Andy in Florida. They talked most of the night. Sing on "More, More, More" Debbie, Billy and Gail West Black

got to interview Andrea about 6 months back, and was great to chat to her about her past in music. She was open and honest and a believer in her abilities.
