Beatrice Koslowski TOWN OF ULSTER- Beatrice ‘Aunt Bea' Koslowski, 91, formerly of Seven Greens, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrine. Beatrice was born in Haines Falls, on Oct. 5, 1921, the daughter of the late Leroy and Lena (Whitney) Winnie. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her home. Surviving are four sisters, Olive Shumen, Florence Vedder and Estella Van Buren, all of Kingston, Maude Lombardy of Del.; one brother, Hyland Winnie of Saugerties; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband, William; three brothers, Melvin, Elmer, and Herbert Winnie; and two sisters, Evelyn Palen and Eleanor Tubbs, all died previously. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, N.Y. The service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Aunt Bea's family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial follow at the Blue Mountain Cemetery, Saugerties.
