Charles Link STONE RIDGE - Charles Link, 90, of Atwood Road died Thursday March 13, 2014 at Health Alliance Hospital Broadway Campus in Kingston. He was born in N.Y.C. Aug. 22, 1923 a son of the late Charles and Anna Meister Link. Charles was employed by the United States Postal Service, first as a letter carrier in New Paltz and later retiring as the Postmaster of the Woodstock Post Office. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Philomena Brown Link, a son, Glenn C. Link of Calif., a granddaughter Morgan Link, also of Calif., a cousin Doris Kunes and her husband Richard, of N.C. Charles also leaves four sisters-in-law, Anna Isusi, Delia Brown, Margaret Lockwood, Edith Mallaney, and a brother-in-law, Nicholas Brown Jr.. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends. His funeral will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday from the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, Rosendale. Rev. John Audu will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Stone Ridge. Friends may call at the funeral home in Rosendale on Sunday 4 to 9 p.m. The family suggests memorials to the Marbletown First Aid Unit, PO Box 323, High Falls, N.Y. 12440 or to St. Peter’s Church, PO Box 471, Rosendale, N.Y. 12472.
