Colleen A. Picard RED HOOK- Colleen A. Picard, 61, of Red Hook, N.Y., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at White Plains Hospital in White Plains, N.Y. Born on July 28, 1956, in Troy, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Harold and Anne (Maiello) Graber. Colleen married Mark Picard on February 24, 1979 in Troy, N.Y., and he survives at home in Red Hook. Colleen’s career was spent in health care as a registered nurse at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston and as a school nurse at Red Hook Central Schools. In addition to her husband of 38 years, she is survived by her children, Mark Picard, Jr., of Phoenix, Ariz., Lynn Picard of Albany, N.Y., and Jennifer Picard of Long Beach, Calif.; her siblings, Harold Graber, Jr., of Niskayuna, N.Y., Anne Marie Raymus of Rotterdam, N.Y., Diane Guthorn of Malta, N.Y., and David Graber of Wynantskill, N.Y.; along with numerous extended family and friends. Colleen was a loving wife and mother to three beautiful children; she was a devoted Christian to the community where she practiced her faith routinely every Sunday. She was a dedicated medical professional and served her time helping the Red Hook School District as a substitute nurse. Her loyalty and faith in the Lord will live on with every human she has touched. Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at the Church of the Resurrection, 9 Church St., Germantown, N.Y. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made in Colleen’s memory to the Holy Trinity Parish 11 Church Ave. Germantown, N.Y., 12526.
