Gregoria C. Wisner Obituary
Gregoria C. Wisner SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA- Gregoria C. Wisner, of Santa Clarita, Calif., passed away on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 in her home surrounded by loved ones. A previous, long-time resident of Port Ewen, Gregoria was born in Malden, N.Y., Oct. 11, 1926 and was married to the late Kenneth Wisner. She was the daughter of the late Cristina Ortale Ceballos and Tomas Ceballos and sister to the late Dominga Ceballos Matthews and Frank Daley. She is survived by her children: Judy Finkel and husband Eric, Elena Wisner, David Wisner of Santa Clarita, Calif. and son, Ken Wisner of Saugerties. She is also survived by grandchildren: Nicole, Jamie, Kenny, Jonathan and Alexandra; and great-grandchildren: Cheyenne, Thomas and Anna. Additionally, she is survived by sisters, Rose Ceballos, Lisa Monashefsky, Angie White, and brother Charles Daley as well as many beloved nieces and nephews and cherished friends. Gregoria was a proud, long-time member of the Ladies Society of Santa Maria and will be remembered for her loving spirit, dedication to family and wonderful sense of humor. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 beginning with Mass at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Concepcion Church on Delaware Avenue Kingston. Burial following Mass will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Foxhall Avenue. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to a gathering at the Ponckhockie Congregational Church on Abruyn Street. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her honor to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
