HIGHLAND FALLS, N.Y. Helen S. McEntee, a resident of Highland Falls, N.Y. since 1969, a retired Librarian for the Peekskill School District entered into rest, Monday, Feb. 3, 2014 at St. Luke's/Cornwall Hospital - Newburgh Campus. She was 98 years of age.

She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Fuchs Schroeder, Helen was born in Brooklyn, March 30, 1915.
She has been a charter member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, served on the board of the American Red Cross of Orange and Sullivan Counties.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews, as well as cousins; Joanne Pagnotta and her husband Dominick of Marlboro and Edward Sagarese and his wife Katherine of Milton, N.Y.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Col. Girard L. McEntee lll and his sons; Col. Ducat McEntee, Commander G.L. McEntee.
There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christain Burial will be offered 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at Saint Joseph Church, 242 Wall St., Kingston, N.Y. Burial to follow the Mass at Montrepose Cemetery in Kingston.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Noon, Feb. 18, 2014 at the Most Holy Trinity Chapel, 699 Washington Rd., West Point, N.Y. A second Memorial Mass will be held 11:30 a.m., June 8, 2014 at Sacred Heart Church, 355 Main Street, Highland Falls, N.Y.
