Isabel M.P. Coryat RED HOOK- Isabel M.P. Coryat, 75, of Red Hook, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at her home in Red Hook. For many years she and her husband Henry owned and operated Coryat Casting Co. in Rhinebeck. Since her retirement, she authored a book entitled “Patinas for Bronze Sculpture”. Isabel, along with her husband, had been active members of the Red Hook Golf Club for a number of years. Born Oct. 12, 1937, in Santiago, Chile, she was the daughter of the late Arturo and Isabel (Ariztia) Perez. Isabel was married for 40 years to devoted husband, Henry G. Coryat, Jr. In addition to Henry, she is survived by her five step-children; Kim Coryat of Little Rock, Ark., John & Kimberly Coryat of Memphis, Tenn., Laura Coryat of Hurley, James & Margaret Coryat of Mora, N.M., and Karl Coryat of Alameda, Calif., as well as seven nieces and nephews in Chile; Maria Cecilia Perez Martinez, Arturo Perez Martinez, Maria Veronica Perez Martinez, Carlos Ignacio Perez Martinez , Maria Francisca Perez Martinez, Andrea Perez Martinez, and Cristian Andres Perez Martinez. Her brother, Arturo Perez, predeceased her. A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 17th, at Burnett & White Funeral Home, 91 E. Market St., Rhinebeck, N.Y.
