James C. Embree- KINGSTON- James C. Embree, 81, of Kingston, NY and Stuart, FL. Son of Alexander W. and Clara Cook Embree. Graduate of Kingston High School, Vermont Academy and St. Lawrence University. Former officer of Albany Avenue Garage Inc. and Trans Lease of Ulster. Served as trustee and chairman of Ulster Savings Bank Board of Trustees. Life member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, trustee of Fred Johnston Museum and volunteer for Friends of Historic Kingston and Angel Food East. Survived by wife, Judith, son, James Cook Embree, Jr., daughter, Julia Wade and her husband Mark, grandchildren, Peyton and Colin Wade. Predeceased by his daughter Jennifer Embree and his brother Alex W. Embree, Jr. Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of A. Carr and Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave., Kingston, NY where friends may call on Thursday October 24th from 4 to 7pm. A memorial service will be held Christ the King Episcopal Church, 3021 Rte 213 East, Stone Ridge, NY 12484 on Friday October 25th at 11am.
