Marcella Rose Cahill KINGSTON- Marcella Rose Cahill, 92, formerly of Hillcrest Avenue Kingston, died Tuesday evening, Oct. 16, 2012, at the Golden Hill Health Care Center. Born April 8, 1920 in Alsen, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (White) Campbell. A nurse at the Benedictine Hospital, Marcella was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw, and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her children, Arthur J. Rifenbary and his wife Corinne, of New Paltz, Maureen Schupp and her husband Leo, of Kingston, and Michael R. Cahill and his wife Sue, of Kingston; brother, Robert Campbell of Germany; sister, Carol Martinez of Calif.; grandchildren, Mark and Jay Rifenbary, Alex and Erica Schupp, and Nick Cahill; and great-grandchild, Aeden Brown. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She is the wife of the late Arthur Rifenbary, who died in 1946, and Alexander 'Babe' Cahill, who died in 2003. Her son, David Cahill, died in 1978; brothers, Frederick, Joseph (Sam), and Edward Campbell; and sisters, Evelyn Farnum, Ronnie Nieto, and Lucy Condelario, also died previously.
