Margaret G. Lent RHINEBECK-Margaret G. Lent, 89, of Ferncliff Drive, Rhinebeck, formerly of Kingston, died Thursday morning, June 27, 2013 at ArchCare at Ferncliff. She was born in Kingston on Nov. 29, 1923, a daughter of the late Henry King and Loretta (Gaynor) Minnick. Margaret was a housewife who lost her loving husband, the late Myron “Sonny” Jesse Lent, in 1975. Margaret loved dancing and crafts. She is survived by her children: Myron Lent III and his wife Sandy of Lady Smith, Virginia, Linda Dugan of Schenectady, N.Y., Thomas S. Lent and his wife Cindy of Kerhonkson, Lena Dispensa and her companion Kevin Dugan of Port Ewen, Rev. Timothy Lent and his wife Louise of Paoli, Pa., Robert W. Lent Sr. and his fiancé Debbie of Port Ewen, and daughter-in-law Diane Lent whose husband, George W. Lent, died previously. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Arrangements are under the care of the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park. The funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, Rev. Timothy Lent, Celebrant. The Lent family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Interment next to her late husband “Sonny” at Wiltwyck Cemetery will follow.
