Obituary Condolences

Paul Thomas SAUGERTIES- Paul Thomas, 92, of 3 Blue Hills Drive and formerly of Main St., died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at his residence. Born August 30, 1920 in Jersey City, N.J. he was the son of the late Ferdinand and Constance Cardone Thomas. An area resident since 1998 he previously resided in Queens. Mr. Thomas was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in World War II. When he returned home he was employed for over 50 years at Hearst Syndicate in N.Y.C. as a graphics printer. Paul was an active member of the Saugerties American Legion Post #72 and a Life Member of the Queens V.F.W. Post #2348. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Mary Finnegan; his second wife, Paloma Restaino; and his son, Robert Thomas. Survivors include his daughter, Carol Schneider of Saugerties. His Funeral Service will be Tuesday 10 a.m. at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. corner of John & Lafayette Sts. Saugerties. Interment will follow in the St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery with full military honors by Saugerties American Legion Post #72. Friends will be received Monday from 3 - 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Paul to the Hospice Foundation.
