Reginald Rifenburgh GERMANTOWN- Reginald Rifenburgh, 86, of Germantown, N.Y. died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 20, 1926 in Hudson N.Y. to the late Foster and Delia (LaValle) Rifenburgh. He served in the U.S. Army with the occupying forces in Japan during World War II. He was employed for 31 years at IBM in Kingston, N.Y. retiring in 1986. He was a 65 year member of the American Legion Post # 346 and a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lucy (Lasher) Rifenburgh who he married on Oct. 7 1950 at the Reformed Church of Germantown. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Reese of Hudson, N.Y.; three daughters: Gail (Peter) Setaro of Poughkeepsie; Alice Palumbo of Front Royal, Va.; Sandra (Bruce) Bohnsack of Germantown and two sons; Ronald (Susan) Rifenburgh and Randall (Tammara) Rifenburgh of Germantown; Ten grandchildren Jeremy and Joshua Gaschel, Bradley and Andrew Gatton; Amanda Bohnsack, Lucy Matthews, Brittany DuFresne; Daniel and Kelli Rifenburgh and Garret Rifenburgh; eight great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to call at The Yadack-Fox Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Germantown, on Tuesday, March 19th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 20th, 11 a.m. at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home, the Reverend David Tipple officiating.
