Ronald R. Rose Obituary

TIVOLI- Ronald R. Rose, 73, a resident of Tivoli and a lifelong area resident, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at the Benedictine Hospital in Kingston.
Born on April 19, 1939 in Rhinebeck, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mabel (Moore) Rose.
For many years Ron worked in maintenance at Taconic Farms in Germantown, and he also bartended at the Harris Smith Post in Tivoli.
Ron was an avid fisherman and was also a member of Harris Smith Post 524 Sons of the American Legion in Tivoli.
He is survived by his sister, Lillian Curtis of Livingston; his brother, Donald Rose of Rhinebeck; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Charles Rose, Sr.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. At 2 p.m. a funeral service will be held with the Rev. Eric Titus officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Reformed Church Cemetery, Red Hook.
Memorial donations may be made in Ronald's memory to the , 2678 South Rd, Suite 103, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., 12601.
