Sheldon C. 'Shad' Fuller SAUGERTIES-Sheldon C. "Shad" Fuller, 88, of Finger Street, died Monday, April 2, 2012 at his residence. Born April 25, 1923 in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Frank and Gertrude Fuller. A veteran of World War II he served in the U.S. Army. A graduate of Ohio State University he has been a Saugerties area resident since 1954 where he was employed for over 30 years at IBM. He was a member, past treasurer and past warden of the Trinity Episcopal Church, a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club, a member of the Catskill Glee Club, and the Saugerties Art Council and Water Colorist. He was a charter member of the "398" Club and a former member of the Rip VanWinkle Country Club, and the Sawyerkill Country Club. Survivors include his wife the former Beverly "Bobbi" Pratt, one son: Reed of Aurora, Ohio, one daughter: Victoria Meade of Waitesfield, Vt. Five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by two bothers Richard and Caldwell Fuller. His funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Trinity Episcopal Church, Burt St., Saugerties. Family suggests donations in Shad's memory be made tot he Trinity Church for the Restoration fund.
