Thomas Dachenhausen KINGSTON- Thomas Scott Dachenhausen, 42, of Kingston, died unexpectedly Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Kingston Hospital. Tom was a Heavy Equipment Operator, having worked for several local contractors. He had served in the U.S. Navy, was a member of the Douglas L. Cordo Post # 1748 American Legion, Lake Katrine, and the Ruby Rod & Gun Club, he loved to ride his motorcycle, had enjoyed snowmobiling and anything that ran on gas. He was born Nov. 16, 1970 in Kingston, the son of Thomas T. Dachenhausen and the late Elizabeth Boice Dachenhausen. He was the husband of Kimberly Dachenhausen, they wed on July 11, 2009. In addition he is survived by a sister, Tammy L Barto; a brother, Dean D. Dachenhausen; a stepdaughter, Courtney Degraw; stepsons, Michael and Matthew Decicco; a niece, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at the Douglas L. Cordo Post # 1748 American Legion, Old Stage Road, Lake Katrine, on Sunday Feb. 24, 2013 at noon. A church memorial service will take place on Monday Feb. 25, 2013, at 1st Baptist Church, 32 Partition St., Saugerties, N.Y., at 6pm. The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Douglas L. Cordo Post #1748 American Legion, P.O. Box 163, Lake Katrine, N.Y., 12449.
