William Ralph Cyr SUMMERVILLE, S.C.- William Ralph Cyr, ‘Wilson', of Summerville, S.C., and a long time resident of Kerhonkson, passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2013. He was 42 years old. Wilson was born on April 4, 1970 in Ellenville, he was the son of the late Patrick J. and Beatrice (Conklin) Cyr. Mr. Cyr had graduated from Rondout Valley High School in 1988. He lived most of his life in this area and had moved to South Carolina about five years ago. Wilson was an avid race car fan so much so that he eventually went into business selling NASCAR memorabilia. He enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets where he always was able to find great bargains. Wilson lived his life to the fullest. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Wilson is survived by his brothers and sisters; Patrick Cyr and Margie of Accord, Bonnie Cyr of Fla., Danny and Jamie Cyr of Ind., Phyllis and Kyle Sumner, Scott and Carrie Cyr, Rhonda and Dominic LeVardi, Jessica Cyr and Jeremy all of Wichita, Kan.; his stepfather, Harry Conklin of Napanoch; his stepmother, Lori Arnold of Wichita, Kan.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 18, 12 to 4 p.m. with a celebration of his life beginning at 3 p.m. at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson.
