Emma F. ‘Dolly’ Weber GULFPORT, FLA. - Emma F. (Dolly) Weber, 90, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at her home in Gulfport. Born Jan. 14, 1924 in N.Y.C., she was the daughter of the late Peter and Emma Protheroe Donoghue and had resided in Olivebridge for many years, spending winters in Gulfport since 1970. Dolly was a graduate of Benedictine Hospital School of Nursing and worked at the hospital for 27 years, before retiring. She was a member of the Olive Seniors and the Gulfport Seniors and enjoyed spending time with her friends at the library and playing Bingo every Friday at the community center. She was also known to be seen with her dog Toby at the Gulfport dog Park. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore W. Weber, in 1996. Surviving are her children, Emma Ellen Mattes of Seminole, Fla., Edna Kranenburg of Olivebridge, Peter C. Weber of Olivebridge, and Theodore A. Weber and his wife Dawn of Montross, Colo., her grandchildren, Denise and Jamie Glass of Kingston, Kelly (David) Floyd of Stoneham, Mass., Peter S.(Madeline) Kranenburg of Raeford, N.C., Michael and Matthew (Andrea) Kranenburg of Olivebridge, Michelle (Steven) Sanderson of Albuquerque, N.M., and Christine Aldrich of Grand Junction, Colo., 16 loving great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson, beloved niece, Deanna Capisano, her sister-in-law, Harriet Weber of Olivebridge and an enormous loving extended family. Friends will be received Friday 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. at Lasher Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Tinker St., Woodstock. The funeral procession will form 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. At 10 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be sung at St. Johns Church, Holly Hills Drive, West Hurley. Spring burial will be in Tongore Cemetery, Olivebridge.
