Linda M. (Bailey) DiFiore
PORT EWEN- Linda M. (Bailey) DiFiore, 67, of Four Sisters Lane, Port Ewen, died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus, Kingston, following a battle with lung cancer.
Linda was born in Kingston on Oct. 21, 1946, the daughter of Dorothy M. (Dart) Bailey of Kingston, and the late John H. Bailey.
Linda was a homemaker who loved her cats, and going places with her mom, ""Nanny"".
In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by one daughter, Lynn Wood, and her husband Randy, of Anchorage, Alaska; two sons, Carl DiFiore and his wife Sherry of Kingston, and Stephen DiFiore and his wife Kristen of Millbrook; six grandchildren, Ashley Nace, Randi Wood, Desiree DiFiore, Sarah DiFiore, Connor Thomas DiFiore, and Carl DiFiore, Jr.; and one great-grandchild, Aubree Rene Velders.
Linda is predeceased by a son, Jeffery John Boyce, who died in 1970, and her husband, Carl DiFiore, who died in 1999.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Rev Arlene Dawber will officiate. Interment in the family plot will follow at Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
