Eugene H. Kuhn HURLEY-Eugene H. Kuhn, 85, of Trail Road in Hurley died Sunday June 1, 2014 at home with his loving family by his side. Born June 16, 1928 in Union City, New Jersey he is the son of the late Joseph and Mary Kennedy. Eugene served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed by the Teamsters Local Union in Hoboken as a Boiler Engineer until his retirement. Surviving is a son; Eugene Patrick Kuhn and his wife Jane of Easton, Pennsylvania, daughters; Karen Patricia Clark and her husband Jeff of Boiceville, Noreen Elizabeth Pena and her husband Bassio of Bloomfield, New Jersey and Trish Ann Plantier and her husband Paul of Kingston, siblings; Joseph Kennedy and Mary Kennedy McCloskey, grandchildren; Randi McGinley, Danny Kuhn, Connor and Cooper Plantier, Dylan and Ryan Clark and great grandchildren; twins Olivia and Chase McGinley, a niece; Monica Unangst and her husband Thomas as well as many other nieces and nephews. His beloved wife; Bridget “Bridie” Kuhn died Dec. 5, 2012. Siblings; Thomas, Richard, Michael and Ellen Kennedy also died previously. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Smith Avenue Kingston. . Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral procession will form at the funeral home Wednesday at 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Kingston. Burial with military honors will follow at Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.
