Angelina Zunich RHINEBECK - Angelina Zunich, 93, of Rhinebeck and a former Clinton resident, passed away on Monday, July 7th, 2014 at the Thompson House in Rhinebeck. Born on Aug. 14th, 1920, in Dunmore, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Gaetane (Sberna) Ferrara. Angelina married Mark Anthony Zunich on Jan. 31, 1953 in New York City and he predeceased her on March 24, 2007. Angelina was well known in the area for her art work. Working on canvas, she enjoyed working with oils creating landscapes. She also worked as seamstress for many years. She is survived by her three children; Karen E. Zunich and her husband Jim Palazzolo of Valley Stream, N.Y., Mark J. Zunich, MD and his wife Regina of Rhinebeck, and Jeanne E. Zunich and her husband Richard Bowler of Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y. Two sisters; Isabelle Liskiewicz, and Grace Procacci both of College Point, N.Y., and five grandchildren; Daniel Zunich, Laura Bowler, Andrew (Casey) Zunich, Jimmy Bowler, and Matthew Palazzolo also survive her. Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes in Red Hook on Wednesday, July 9th, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 10th, 2014 at St. Christopher’s Church, Red Hook. The Rev. Xavier Santiago will officiate. Burial will be at Rhinebeck Cemetery, Rhinebeck. Memorial donations may be made in Angelina’s memory to The Thompson House, c/o NDH Foundation, PO Box 5002, Rhinebeck, N.Y. 12572.
