Thomas E. Green SAUGERTIES - Thomas E. Green, 74, of Partition Street died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 at the Kingston Hospital. Born May 3, 1936 in Catskill he was the son of the late Thomas and Gertrude Barnum Green. A lifetime area resident he was employed for over 30 years at Lehigh Portland Cement, 10 years as an electrician at the Kingston Schools Consolidated and he owned and operated ETG Communications. He was a former member of the Saugerties Dartball League and the South Side Mens Club. Survivors include his wife, the former Jacqueline Craft, with whom he recently celebrated his 56th wedding anniversary. One daughter, Jodi and her husband John Goff of Pa. and one son, Bhrett and his wife Ginny Green of Ill., three sisters, Pat Walrath, Margaret Hayes and Tina Rhodes and two brothers, Michael and Stanley Kogut, four grandchildren, Shannon Schlenker, Ashley Goff, Christopher and Michael Green, one great-grandson, Mason Schlenker. A dear friend, Richie Miller of Saugerties and several nieces and nephews also survive. Ed enjoyed spending his time with Mason. They swam, went bike riding, golfing, got haircuts together and much more. Mason hasn't just lost his great-grandfather, but his best friend. He will be missed by all immensely. His funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., corner of John and Lafayette Streets, Saugerties with the Rev. Jeanette Tweedy, officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Mountain Cemetery.
